The local picture in County Durham
The County Durham scheme covers designated areas spread across many towns and villages rather than a single neighbourhood, including parts of places such as Peterlee, Seaham, Stanley, Bishop Auckland, Ferryhill and Easington. Landlords with several properties can find that some are inside the scheme and others are not.
The scheme has a fixed term set by the council. Always confirm the current designation for each address with Durham County Council.

Our role
Sunderland Landlord Compliance is a managed property compliance service and consultancy, not the council. The landlord or proposed licence holder remains responsible for the application and its declarations. Licensing decisions, conditions and timescales are set by the local authority, and no outcome can be guaranteed.
