What is a CP12?
CP12 refers to the standard form historically used to record the annual Landlord Gas Safety check. The check itself must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer on every gas appliance, fitting and flue in the property.
See our Gas Safety Certificate Sunderland page for the broader landlord obligation.
How CP12 booking support works
- Tell SLC the property address and current expiry date
- SLC confirms the quote and a booking window
- A Gas Safe engineer attends and carries out the check
- The returned CP12 record is stored against the property
- SLC tracks the 12 month renewal date for you
Who this is suitable for
- Single property landlords
- Portfolio landlords across the North East
- Letting agents and property managers
- HMO landlords needing tighter records
Bundle CP12 with other services
CP12 checks are commonly bundled with a boiler service, EICR or an EPC so multiple visits can be coordinated efficiently.
